Hi, I’m Storm Team 9 Meteorologist Gannon Medwick with your FORECAST FOR EASTERN NCA weak low pressure system will bring a slight early week rain chances.  High pressure systems should keep most of the work week dry, however.

MONDAY FORECAST DETAILS:  Expect variable clouds, a morning shower chance near 0%, an afternoon shower chance near 10%, light breezes mainly from the east, and seasonable afternoon highs mainly in the mid 50s.

MONDAY NIGHT FORECAST DETAILS:  Expect variable clouds.  Patchy fog will be possible, especially late.  The evening shower chance is near 30% and the late night shower chance is near 50%.  Expect low temperatures mainly in the low 40s to possibly upper 30s.

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK:  Dry weather will be the rule.  Tuesday will be one of the milder days with high temperatures then likely in the upper 50s and lower 60s.  See the 7-Day Forecast for more details.

THE FIRST WEEKEND OF FEBRUARY FEATURED RAINFALL of 1.46” at Greenville, 0.91" at Washington, 0.69" at Edenton, 0.29" at New Bern, 0.23" at Morehead City, and 0.16" at Jacksonville.
