FRIDAY FORECAST DETAILS: Expect partly sunny skies, light south or southwest breezes, and highs – a touch milder than Thursday – upper 50s to possibly lower 60s.
FRIDAY NIGHT FORECAST DETAILS: Expect mostly cloudy skies, scattered to numerous showeres, and lows mainly in the 40s. Rain amounts up to around 0.5 inches are possible.
SATURDAY FORECAST DETAILS: Expect partly sunny skies, brisk northwest breezes sometimes more than 15mph, and highs mainly in the low 50s. A stray shower is possible early and a stray flurry is possible late.
SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY FORECAST DETAILS: A few flurries or snow showers could form near the sounds / OBX Saturday night, otherwise expect clear and cold conditions with low temperatures Saturday night likely in the 20s and highs Sunday in the 40s.
A PEEK INTO NEXT WEEK: Dry weather will persist for very early next week, then a chance of showers will grow for Tuesday. Expect a moderating daytime temperature trend of highs in the 40s Monday to 50s Valentine’s Day for Tuesday and Wednesday.
